About Arielle
Art has been an important part of my life for as long as I can remember. From the moment I could hold a pencil, I’ve been drawn to creating - capturing the beauty I see around me, including animals and nature. Growing up, I explored various subjects and mediums through school art classes, but it wasn’t until the start of the pandemic that I truly refined my technique. During that time, I focused exclusively on colored pencils, developing my methods and skills in hyper-realism.
More recently, I’ve fallen in love with soft pastels for their fluidity, blendability, and organic connection to the earth itself. Their versatility has reignited my passion for experimenting with new mediums and techniques, which keeps my work constantly evolving.
As someone who values compassion and mindfulness, much of my inspiration comes from nature and humanity’s place within it. My art explores themes of hope, connection, resilience, and harmony - aiming to bridge the beauty of our world with the human experience. Working with warm, earthy tones, I strive to create pieces that encourage introspection and offer a calm, reflective space for viewers to connect with themselves and the world around them.
AOK stands for Arielle Olivia Komie, my initials, and is a reflection of my personal connection to every piece I create. It’s more than just a logo - it represents my dedication to authenticity, craftsmanship, and the individuality I infuse into my art.
Through years of exploration and experimentation, I’ve developed a passion for creating realistic, emotionally resonant art. I hope my work invites others to find their own stories within it.
